The mission of the Safe Community Partnership (SCP) is to reduce traffic crashes, thereby lessening the burden of injuries and fatalities caused by traffic crashes. To achieve this goal, the Partnership brings together more than 40 local agencies and programs on a regular basis to review data, determine the most pressing safety issues for Clark County and develop countermeasure programs to address those needs.

The Safe Community Partnership Program is an outreach program of the Transportation Research Center, University of Nevada Las Vegas. The office-cum-lab is located in the Thomas Beam Engineering complex in Room 363 of the “B” building. Additionally, faculty, staff and students associated with the TRC have other offices in the “B” building of the Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering.
